Lebanonese.org is a social media website dedicated to bringing together people from Lebanon, and those of Lebanese ancestry, as well as those who are neither, but have a frank, honest, and genuine interest in the welfare, political and social rights, and the future, of the People of Lebanon.

the “USERS” of Lebanonese.org are those Individuals or organizations who have successfully signed up or registered, and then admitted for membership will be deemed as “SUBSCRIBERS” whether they choose to participate or refrain from doing so in the social exchange and interaction within Lebanonese.org .

Other membership categories such as:

• CONTRIBUTOR
• AUTHOR
• EDITOR
• ADMINISTRATOR

Will be offered by invites.

The mere completion of membership shall signify that those “USERS” have read, understood, assimilated, and have become fully aware and conversant, of the “USERS” guidelines and responsibilities as well as the Lebanonese.org terms and conditions of service.

Successful Registrants will allow Lebanonese.org contact them, unhindered, via email in order to promote the website and its proposed Electoral Law.

Subscribers may at any time request to no longer be registrants at Lebanonese.org

Statement of Users Rights and Responsibilities

These are terms of service that govern our relationship with all “USERS”, their interaction and communication among each other.

By using or accessing Lebanonese.org Services, “USERS” agree to this Statement.

“USERS” own all of the content and information they post and may control how it is shared within Lebanonese.org through the Privacy and the various software and application settings.

All “ USERS’” content covered by intellectual property rights and shared on Lebanonese.org is considered to include both a license to post and equally a grant of the rights to pass on and publish content and share it with the world. This license and sharing permissions may be withdrawn only from the “USERS’” account on Lebanesebooks.org, simply by having it deleted. However, any such content shared and/.or republished by any other use, during the period of the grant, cannot be deleted. Equally, “USERS” may consider the use of their account privacy settings to limit the viewing or exchanges, but not necessarily, the sharing, with friends or groups.

Safety

Lebanonese.org does its utmost to keep its website safe, but no guarantee is hereby given. Just like in all social media websites, in our case too, we need your help to keep Lebanonese.org safe, and therefore require commitment from the “USERS” to:

• Refrain from posting commercial communication, spam, and any out of subject or relevance to the aims and objectives of Lebanonese.org.
  
• Refrain from uploading viruses or other malicious code.
  
• Refrain from contacting other users on subjects that are unrelated and not relevant to Lebanonese.org
  
• Completely agree not to bully, intimidate, or harass any user, nor post content that: is hate speech, threatening, pornographic; incite violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
  
• Refrain from using Lebanonese.org to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, criminal or discriminatory.
  
• Refrain from anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working or appearance of Lebanonese.org such as a denial of service attack or interference with page rendering or other Lebanonese.org functionality. 

Registration and Account Security

Lebanonese.org “USERS” commit to:

• Provide their real information upon registering on Lebanonese.org.
  
• Never create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.
  
• Never create more than one personal account.
  
• Never create another account without our permission in the case your original account has been disabled or cancelled due to violations.
  
• Being at least 18 years old at the time of registering.
  
• Keep your contact information accurate and up to date.
  
• Avoid sharing your password, let anyone else access your account, or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your account.
  
• Refrain from transferring your account (including any content or level of membership or role you administer) to anyone without first getting our written permission.

Protecting Other People’s Rights

We respect other people’s rights (particularly those we or “USERS” disagree with and expect everyone to adhere to this.

• No foul language will be tolerated on Lebanonese.org. “USERS” who do not adhere to this requirement, may see their accounts suspended, after a warning, or without one. In the case of account suspension, all “USERS” contents may be deleted and rendered non-recoverable.
  
• We shall not tolerate the use of insults or disrespect or bad mouthing of any personally identifiable by name, official, person, or user. “USERS” who do not adhere to this requirement, may see their accounts suspended, after a warning, or without one. In the case of account suspension, all “USERS” contents may be deleted and rendered non-recoverable.
  
• We may also choose to remove, without warning or advice, any content or information “USERS” post on Lebanonese.org if we believe that it violates this Statement or our policies.
  
• If we remove “USERS” content for infringing someone else’s copyright, and you believe we removed it by mistake, we will provide you with an opportunity to appeal.
  
• If you repeatedly infringe other people’s intellectual property rights, we will disable your account when appropriate.
  
• “USERS” will not post anyone’s identification documents or sensitive financial information, such as personal or legal documents, bank statements, or any document considered to be private and personal, on Lebanonese.org.

Amendments

Your continued use of the Lebanonese.org Services, following notice of the changes to our terms, policies or guidelines, constitutes your acceptance of our amended terms, policies or guidelines.

Termination of Services

If “USERS” violate the terms of service of Lebanonese.org, they may be given a warning, have content removed without advice or notification or risk having their accounts suspended or terminated.

If we make changes to policies, guidelines or other terms referenced in or incorporated by this Statement, we may provide notice on the Site Governance Page.

Lebanonese.org retains its right to temporarily or permanently suspend its own services, with or without notice. Under such circumstances, Lebanonese.org shall bear no legal or moral liabilities, whatsoever, in relation to any kind of grief that someone, somewhere, may wish or decide to attribute to Lebanonese.org’s going off-line. Equally, Lebanonese.org shall not be accountable or obligated to submit any reasons or explanation nor would it be liable to any form of compensation to “USERS” or any other.

The above Terms of Use may be amended, expanded or changed, at any time, with or without notice, or by simply making reference to the change on the Home Page.

All “USERS” are considered to be aware and savvy of these terms, and of any other that may simply make sense, within Lebanonese.org and in its relationship with its “USERS”, and among them, on a social media website that invites caring people to help promote specific goals and objectives.
